At Camp Tteok we strive to create an immersive, creative, and authentic environment for our campers. Not only to become proficient in Korean but to communicate, understand and grow with each other during their time together.
DAILY SCHEDULE

EARLY DROP OFF
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Student's can sign up for early drop off with a weekly fee
GROUP ACTIVITY
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Group activities will include chances for different age groups to interact and share their knowledge through games that improve teamwork and leadership. Morning activities will be targeted on a review of previously learned material (from the day before). Think of it as a refresher to get campers prepared for the rest of the day.
MORNING SNACK
9:45 AM - 10:00 AM
Campers will have the option to eat a healthy snack before continuing their day.
KOREAN CLASS
10:00AM -10:50 AM
Because Korean is a phonetic and non-Germanic language, explicit instruction will be required for successful proficiency. Students will spend 100 minutes every day within their age groups learning Korean through new themes each week. During the morning sessions, students will be introduced to new daily concepts and vocabulary.
SPECIAL ACTIVITY
11:00AM - 11:50 AM
During this time students will participate in traditional Korean art, sports, or dance that they have signed up for beforehand. Students will be required to sign up for two different activities that they will participate in each day.
LUNCH
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
During this time campers will get to enjoy our ethically and locally sourced Korean Fusion cuisine, prepared by our in-house cooking staff.
FREE TIME
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Campers will be allowed to recharge and rest before continuing the day.
KOREAN CLASS
2:00 PM - 2:50 PM
During the afternoon sessions, students will participate in lessons that reinforce & review new concepts they learned earlier in the day.
SPECIAL ACTIVITY
3:00 PM - 3:50 PM
During this time students will participate in traditional Korean art, sports, or dance that they have signed up for beforehand.
AFTERNOON SNACK
4:00 PM - 4:15 PM
Campers will have the option to eat a healthy snack before continuing their day.
GROUP ACTIVITY
4:15 PM - 5:00 PM
Group activities will include chances for different age groups to interact and share their knowledge. Games that improve teamwork and leadership. Plus, a chance for students to review material they have learned during the day.
LATE PICK UP
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Late pick-up is available with a weekly fee.
